The Man-Machine (German: Die Mensch-Maschine) is the iconic seventh studio album by German electronic pioneers Kraftwerk, released on May 19, 1978. Widely regarded as a cornerstone of electronic music, it moved away from the more experimental sound of their earlier work toward a more concise, "danceable" synth-pop style.
