Bloc Party / Intimacy (Clear Vinyl)

Intimacy is the third studio album by English indie rock band Bloc Party, initially released as a digital download on August 21, 2008, through Wichita Recordings. Produced by Jacknife Lee and Paul Epworth, the album represented a dramatic structural shift for the band. It moved away from traditional post-punk indie rock toward polarizing, experimental electronic textures, glitchy loops, and drum-and-bass influences. Despite the mixed critical reaction to its abrasive production, it successfully debuted at number 8 on the UK Albums Chart and reached number 18 on the US Billboard 200.
