A Weekend in the City is the second studio album by British indie rock band Bloc Party, released in February 2007. Produced by Jacknife Lee, it marked a significant shift from the raw, guitar-driven "dance-punk" of their debut, Silent Alarm, toward a more polished, electronic-influenced art-rock sound.
