Released on June 21, 1965, Mr. Tambourine Man is the debut studio album by the American rock band The Byrds. It is widely credited with popularizing folk rock by blending Bob Dylan’s poetic lyrics with the "jangly" 12-string Rickenbacker guitar sound and lush vocal harmonies inspired by the British Invasion.
