C'est Chic is the second and most commercially successful studio album by the American disco and R&B band Chic, released on August 11, 1978, by Atlantic Records. Conceived by the powerhouse production duo of Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards, the album became a definitive staple of the disco era, spending eleven weeks at the top of the Billboard R&B albums chart and being named Billboard's 1979 R&B Album of the Year.
