Phenobarb Bambalam is the acclaimed second solo studio album by Scottish alternative rock and industrial musician Chris Connelly, originally released on July 15, 1992, through the legendary label Wax Trax! Records. Moving away from the heavy industrial machine-gun beats of his work with Ministry and Revolting Cocks, the album showcases a more melodic, structured singer-songwriter style heavily influenced by art-rock and David Bowie. The record is deeply emotional and atmospheric, heavily shadowed by the tragic suicide of Connelly's fiancée during its recording sessions.
