Released on February 7, 1973, Raw Power is the seminal third studio album by the American rock band the Stooges, famously credited as Iggy & The Stooges. Produced by Iggy Pop and mixed by David Bowie, it is widely considered a foundational "proto-punk" record that influenced the sound of later bands like the Sex Pistols, Nirvana, and the Smiths.
