Joan Jett / Bad Reputation

Bad Reputation is the debut solo studio album by American rocker Joan Jett, originally released independently in May 1980 as a self-titled record. After being rejected by 23 major labels, Jett and producer Kenny Laguna formed their own label, Blackheart Records, to distribute it. The album was re-released worldwide under the title Bad Reputation on January 23, 1981, after Jett signed with Boardwalk Records.
