John Summit / Comfort Chaos

Comfort in Chaos is the highly anticipated debut studio album by American DJ and producer John Summit, released on July 12, 2024, through his own Experts Only imprint and Darkroom Records. The 12-track project marks an emotional evolution for the Chicago native, balancing his signature high-energy tech-house club anthems with introspective, melodic tracks that touch on UK garage, liquid drum & bass, and progressive house.

According to Summit, the title represents the juxtaposition of his dual lifestyles: the intense, chaotic high of performing on massive festival stages versus the solitary comfort and vulnerability of returning to an isolated hotel room or studio space. The distinct psychedelic, skeleton-themed cover art was created in collaboration with Puerto Rican artist Marcos Alvarado.
