Love and Rockets / Express

Express is the second studio album by the English alternative rock band Love and Rockets, released on September 15, 1986 by Beggars Banquet Records. Formed by former members of the goth-rock band Bauhaus—Daniel Ash, David J, and Kevin Haskins—the trio shifted toward a lighter blend of neo-psychedelia, post-punk, and alternative pop. NPR noted that the album's unique "psychedelic train ride laid the foundation for alt-rock," praised for its rich sonic layers, swirling arrangements, and balance of dark and light themes.
