With Sympathy is the debut studio album by the American band Ministry, released on May 10, 1983, through Arista Records. While Ministry later became pioneers of aggressive industrial metal, With Sympathy is a definitive synth-pop and new wave record. The album is characterized by melodic synthesizers, drum machines, and frontman Al Jourgensen’s "fake" British accent.
