Sheer Heart Attack is the third studio album by the British rock band Queen, released on November 8, 1974, by Trident Studios and Elektra Records. It marked the band's major international breakthrough. The album successfully pivoted Queen from their earlier heavy progressive rock roots toward a highly polished, theatrical pop-rock sound.
