Ssssh is the third studio album by the British blues rock band Ten Years After, released in August 1969 through Deram Records.The album served as the band's major mainstream breakthrough, capturing them at peak creative momentum right around their iconic performance at the Woodstock festival that same summer. It features their signature heavy, energetic blend of traditional Chicago blues riffs and raw British psychedelia. The title itself is a legendary inside joke among the band, humorously requesting "quiet" at a time when frontman Alvin Lee's guitar and Leo Lyons' bass were constantly competing for stage volume.
