Please Please Me is the historic debut studio album by The Beatles, released in the United Kingdom on March 22, 1963. Produced by George Martin and issued on EMI's Parlophone label, this legendary release effectively launched the band into global superstardom and initiated the "British Invasion". Remarkably, to capitalize on the success of the title single, 10 of the album's 14 tracks were famously recorded in a single marathon 12-hour studio session at Abbey Road Studios on February 11, 1963.
