The Rentals / Lost in Alphaville

Lost in Alphaville is the third full-length studio album by the American alternative rock band The Rentals. Released on August 25, 2014, through Polyvinyl Records, it marked the band's first major album release in 15 years following 1999's Seven More Minutes. Fronted by former Weezer bassist Matt Sharp, the record features a unique "wall of sound" style built on heavy Moog synthesizers, distorted bass, power-pop melodies, and elegant string arrangements.
