TOOL - OPIATE EP

Opiate is the debut EP by American alternative metal band Tool, released on March 10, 1992, through Zoo Entertainment. Named after Karl Marx's famous phrase "religion... is the opiate of the masses," the EP delivers a heavy, aggressive introduction to the band's signature style. It predated their first full-length studio album, Undertow, by one year and has since been certified platinum by the RIAA.
